Community Planing Workshops

Central Council's Business and Economic Development Department in partnership with Self-Governance Department and ActionStrategy provide two-day strategic planning work sessions for Southeast Alaska communities - Strategic Planning for Communities.  Participating organizations will have the opportunity to establish or refine their individual strategic plans as well as the community's economic development priorities, then partner with Tribal, state and federal resources to implement these priorities.  These plans will be published in a comprehensive report and utilized in grant applications for your organization and community.  The report is known as the Southeast Alaska Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).

A professional facilitator is made available to help accomplish goals within the allotted time period. Additionally, a free subscription to ActionStrategy, an online project management tool, is granted to all participating organizations, courtesy of the Central Council and ActionStrategy.
