sovereign entity and have a government to government relationship with the United States.
The Council's headquarters is in Juneau, Alaska but our commitment to serving the Tlingit and
Haida people extends throughout the United States.

and Economic Development Department (BEDD) of the Central Council is charged with developing and
maintaining efforts and programs that promote business and economic development
for our tribal constituents and constituent communities that will ultimately
result in their self-sufficiency.
