It is important to look through these sites since some funds are administered
in a decentralized through allocations at the regional or state levels for further
disbursement. This means that funds may be available at the regional or state
levels even though there may be no notice of fund availabilty on the Grants.gov
site. EDA grants are an example of this. They accept applications on an ongoing
basis for economic development projects. The Firstgov.gov site provides an index

This site will also provide a listing of Government Benefits Grants and Financial
Aid by selecting Benefits and Grants off the center menu or going

GrantsNet is a program of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that helps
fund searchers to find all information on the Agency's programs in one location.
National Endowment for the Arts (NEA)
For specific information on
Arts opportunities, go to the main site at http://arts.endow.gov/.
National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH)
For specific information
on NEH opportunities, go to the main site at http://www.neh.fed.us/
and select Apply for a Grant off the left menu. Then select the by
alphabet or by division option of the center listing or go directly
to http://www.neh.fed.us/grants/grants.html.
The White House
The White
House website provides current funding information on White House Faith
Based and Community Initiatives programs at http://www.whitehouse.gov/government/fbci/grant-programs.html.
Researchers can also access economic and statistical data off this site.
US Army (Army)
Specific information on Army opportunities can be found
on their Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition Business Website
at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/.
The site was established for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology, ASA(AL&T),
as part of a Web-based strategy that includes: conducting electronic commerce
on the Internet; allowing remote site processing; integration of workflow into
the procurement process; and definition of retail logistics interface requirements.
The challenges include interfacing with the Standard Procurement System (SPS)
and JEDMICS; secure Web Bid Response; HomePage standardization; and technical
data interfacing for bids/proposals.
U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)

page. The researcher will need to review each agency page in order to access
funding information available through that agency. There is no central grants
page on the Department's website.
U.S. Department of Commerce (Commerce)
To find specific information
on Commerce funding opportunities, go to the main departmental website http://www.commerce.gov/
and select Grant Opportunities or Contract Opportunities off
the menu on the right side of the page. Information on Faith Based and Community
Initiatives can be found at http://www.whitehouse.gov/government/fbci/grants-catalog-index.html.
For specific EDA funding opportunities go to http://www.eda.gov/InvestmentsGrants/FFON.xml
for Federal Funding Opportunity and Other Notices. It is important to
use this site since EDA considers and approves funding applications as they
come in.

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
To find specific
information on HHS grant opportunities, go to HHS GrantsNet at http://www.hhs.gov/grantsnet/grantinfo.htm.
Select Funding Opportunities off the left menu. From the resulting page,
the researcher will be able to review funding information by HHS agency. This
information can also be access of the main HH site at http://www.hhs.gov.

and select Index from the subtitle line at the top of the page and then

statistical information and grant funding. To find specific information on DOL

category off the index and review.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
The Region
10 Tribal Grant page presents information on grant solicitations and grant

US Navy (Navy)
